My name is Jessica Heck, and I am an ELL, French, and Spanish teacher based in Indianapolis. Teaching is wonderful, but my real love is travel. My husband Nate and I have never met a plane we didn't like. Dangle us mid-cumulus cloud, hurtling toward anywhere, and we'll be in our happy place. When we had our first child, we figured we had given that up for good. Who has the money, the time, or the energy to travel with kids? And then our dusty passports started screaming our names. I sat up at night doing the math and realized it might. actually. be. possible.

Our goal is to help other people travel, especially people who are on a budget, traveling with a family, or thinking about exploring DIY travel for the first time. We want to inspire confidence in people to travel even when they think they can't.

You can travel even if you're not rich. Or you have a large family. Or you don't speak more than one language. 

It can be done. We promise. We'd love to help!
